Large quantities of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.

A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.

He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was performed by the department's Medicines Group.

Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
